A Proud Family Business

At Boundary Creek Timber, we are incredibly proud of our family business which has grown to become one of the Wide Bay’s leading timber suppliers. Cutting timber has been a family affair for the Pershouse’s, with Jarrods father starting to mill timber on the property back in 1981. Once old enough, Jarrod joined his dad in cutting timber and sleepers. In 2006, Jarrod took over the property and renamed the sawmill Boundary Creek Timber and the business has continued to grow year on year. Jarrod and wife Jay, have seen recent expansions grow the original workforce of just Jarrod and one other, grow to a team of 20 plus members of staff.
